We specialise in helping parents and grand-parents maintain contact with children after their parents relationship has broken down. However, we are completely different from the other firms offering online child custody and access solutions.

How are we different?

We are not solicitors. We are a partnership of professional people who have been through the family courts as participants, mostly in child access and custody issues.

We take a team approach. This means that as well as bringing to the table graduate law training and a greater breadth of experience in legal proceedings than most solicitors have, we can also bring a cross-section of other skills to bear when needed: employment rehabilitation, nursing, fitness & life coaching.

We understand the unique problems faced by those involved, and why it is important to stay at work and keep physically and mentally healthy. It is easy to be drawn in obsessively to court proceedings; after all what is more important than your children’s welfare and happiness? However, those who fail to keep a balance in their life often find a court will consider them a less suitable parent.

We can help our clients by acting as their McKenzie Friend through the entire court process. This includes discussing how the case should be handled, helping complete all the necessary forms and submitting them to court, assisting with negotiations and attending court hearings. We offer as much or as little help as our clients feel they need, ranging from providing telephone and email support to face-to-face meetings providing guidance and moral support at every stage.
