We offer a free initial consultation, either by telephone or in person, after which we will recommend how we can help and give an estimate of costs.
We charge a fraction of what a solicitor would charge and we offer a more holistic approach.
Solicitor rates can be prohibitively expensive, and Legal Aid is becoming increasingly difficult to qualify for. Even those who are granted Legal Aid may find it does not cover everything. For example, a Legal Aid certificate may be granted to obtain a contact order to see your child, but if the other parent does not comply with the order and you need to apply to have it enforced, you may find the certificate does not cover that.
More and more people are now deciding to represent themselves in court, without a solicitor. “Acting in Person” as it is termed, is not as difficult to do so as it might seem. We can help you prepare the case, and accompany you to court as a McKenzie Friend.
